Born and raised in a small town in Northern Alberta, I spent most of my childhood outdoors, exploring and learning. After discovering yoga it came naturally to me due to the adventure, movement, and the exploration in the body. It felt like home. My classes are filled with creative flows; light hearted humor and constant movement with the breath. Above all I strive to create a space where students can feel at ease, able to laugh at themselves and cultivate a relationship to oneself, the body and breath. I gently touch on yogic philosophy, occasional mantra work, and integrate an elemental connection. I strongly believe this allows for us to go deeper into the practice, and roots us back down to earth. Through the practice of yoga, we begin to let go of who we think we need to be, and realize who we really are.
